That’s how it all started

That’s the ad I answered to almost 10 years ago.
I had finished university, done my military service and was ready (not) to get a job. So there I was with an English Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Manufacturing Engineering) knocking at the door of numerous companies trying to get hired. Now, you might think that in this day and age when Europe was being built, a European diploma would be recognised everywhere in Europe…not so. To my dismay I found out that this piece of paper which says that I am an Engineer in the UK was not welcomed with the same enthusiasm in France. Luckily enough for me, one person (MF Stephann), I guess, saw that I had something to offer. That company was Siemens Business Services (at the time it was still known as Siemens Nixdorf).
