She said YES

By in Of mention on September 18, 2005

On Thursday the 8th of September, Isabelle made me the honor of saying YES, for better and for worse. Things did not start too well as I was sick as a dog on that day. I got out of bed with a nice fever, said YES to the registrar, posed for a few pictures (including the ones taken by a bus of Japanese tourists) and then went back to bed. I guess this hardly qualifies as the perfect start to your honeymoon. None the less, we are happy to be married and we do look forward to our next ‘proper’ honeymoon!

We married in Palm Cove, QLD, Australia.

Whilst out there we stayed at the Outrigger Hotel

I’ve attached a few pictures of the wedding to this post, but you can see other pictures of what we were up to in that week by following the link.

Congratulations you two!! I am so happy for you and Paul just came in and was surprised and happy as well! I was not so surprised since I think you two are made for each other and will be very happy together! I wish we could have been there, but it was a simple and less stressful wedding the way you did it (much like our own) and that is sometimes the best kind of wedding :-) We hope to see you soon and hope all is well. Sorry tot ake so long to write this, but we have been offline for over two weeks because of our ISP. We just got back up and running and have tons of emails. Your’s was the first to be answered though! Love you and miss you and Lance says hello!

Well, Doudou man, you still owe me quite a few honeymoons, as Vanuatu was only the 2nd one of a long list (to be determined). I think I will need at least one honeymoon a year to forgive you for not listening to me (not taking any medicine) and nearly standing me up at the altar on my wedding day :-)
You’re lucky I’m deeply in love with you!!
