I came across The Perception Laboratory’s Face Transformer web site, which as the name suggests, deals in face transformation. Now we are not talking about needles or scalpels cutting you up, this is all done virtually on a computer. This site is very cool if you want to see what you’ll look like when you’re old(er). You upload a picture of yourself, choose some characteristics and voila your 30 years older. As far as I’m concerned I’m hope I don’t really end up looking like that. There are a few other transformation effects you can try out. The result is not always a very nice and crisp picture, so you’ll probably have to try out a few pictures.
Note that you will need to have the Java plugin installed.
In my case, I used this start picture.
Then applied the older adult transformation effect to give this result.
And just for fun I wanted to see what I’d look like if Modigliani had painted me.
