New Photo Gallery

I’ve changed the picture gallery software that drives this site. When I first opened this blog I used the wihphoto php scripts with additions and changes of my own brew. However most of the code was “dirty” - not pretty but it did and still does, the job. Lately I also tried flickr - the upside being that I’m not using my bandwidth - and the downside being that I do not have much control over how it looks and I don’t have great statistics. The good thing about flickr I found was that it also allowed me to post a picture straight to my blog with comments and title (and it supports several blog platforms). Anyway, I wanted to change my setup. I came across Zenphoto and I love it. What really pushed me to changing though was a template that I found on Sjard Bleecken’s website. It’s based on the templates designed by Douglas Bowman (I believe they were made for MT) and they are drop dead gorgeous. I’ll keep the old galleries up because of all the links still pointing to it but all new pictures will be posted to the new gallery…until I change it again that is!
UPDATE:

I’ll re-phrase that…I’ve got a couple of things to sort before I move to the new Zenphoto picture gallery!
