Executive Overview
Pascal is an SAP consultant specialising in logistics areas with over 14 years of experience predominantly acquired in the manufacturing and retail industries. Pascal is of the rare breed of technical expert who can design solutions that actually meet business needs. With a focus on creating innovative solutions, Pascal works with clients from the creation of the business case all the way through to implementation and support. EGO Pharmaceuticals - 10 months - Winner SAP Customer Award of Excellence
Responsible for the design and implementation of the entire “produce to plan” activities in a process production (PP-PI) environment that has to conform to auditable GMP (Good Manufacturing Practises) and TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) requirements. Responsible for defining the project structures and managing the CHARM process within Solution Manager.
Securency Australia – Securency International Group - 2 Months
Responsible for scoping and designing a system landscape to enable Securency to interface its satellite production applications with its SAP system via SAP PI. In addition a mobility (RF) process will also be rolled out to streamline the goods receipting process.
Service Desk Implementation - Internal Project
As part of this A1 License Reseller's drive to become a SAP certified support partner, I was assigned the responsibility of defining the key support processes as well as implement them using SAP Solution Manager (helpdesk functionality). Adjacent to this, I also briefed and trained Clarity consultants to use this tool and processes. Clarity passed the certification test with flying colours.
Landmark – AWB Group - 7 months
Responsible for identifying and writing the blueprint documents for satellite systems interfaced to the existing legacy system (to be replaced by ECC 6.0). The context was not a simple one – as a result of mergers, acquisitions and staff departures, little or no documentation existed. One by one interfaced had to be identified, information gathered and as-is situations documented so as to prepare the migration of those interfaces to SAP ECC 6.0. 21 interfaces were identified.
Responsible for setting the Solution Manager Service Desk functionality to capture project issues and the Project Blueprint and testing configuration
CDS – BWN - DORMA Group - 6 months
Implementation of SAP in the newly acquired company CDS as well as extending the use of configurable products in the existing BWN company. Responsible for the implementation of the variant configurator (sales and production – assemble to order scenario) and all logistics activities.
Victoria State and Emergency Services (VIC SES)
Implementation of SAP to replace a legacy Oracle and satellite applications. Responsible for the implementation of the PM module during the blueprint and build phases.
Murray Goulburn - 5 months
Upgrade project from 4.6c to ECC6.0 and multiple internal and external interfaces.I was responsible for overseeing the successful upgrade of the plant maintenance (PM) module as well as doing the inter-module functional coordination.
Westgate – Linfox Integration - 3 months
Westgate was a company acquired by Linfox. As per Linfox company directive, any newly acquired company must integrate the global Linfox SAP system…fast. Responsible for managing the vehicle maintenance and purchasing functions of Westgate and integrating them with the existing Linfox functions.
Lonely Planet Publications Inc. - 10 months
Roll-out of a SAP Core with the vertical solution IS-MEDIA (version 4.7) , to the US operations of Lonely Planet Publications. Responsible for conducting ‘confirm’ workshops, identifying any gaps with the core model and realizing US specific system changes in the areas of MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution).
Following the successful roll-out of SAP to the US operations of Lonely Planet the next logical step was to interface the US operations with a newly developed web shop. The main challenge in this project was to correctly incorporate the complex US sales tax calculation.
FUCHS Lubricants Australia/New Zealand - 1 Month
Implementation of SAP Flexible planning functionalities. The aim was to change the forecasting process to a leaner and more time and cost effective process for FUCHS’ operations in Australia and New Zealand. The process rolled out has permitted FUCHS to reduce the monthly forecasting process from five days down to one and perform the entire process in SAP.
Codan - 7 Months - Winner SAP Best Practice Implementation Award
Responsible for the implementation of PP covering the entire scope of CODAN’s make to order and make to stock process requirements including internal and external kanban replenishment processes. In this project the customer migrated from a deeply liked and custom tailored JD Edwards system to a SAP system with very little ABAP changes. Process re-engineering and optimization workshops were carried out to demonstrate how SAP standard functions would cater to the customer’s requirements.
CADBURY Confectionary Australia/New Zealand - 3 Months
SAP R/3 implementation in version 4.6c. Project EnAbel – Blueprint phase.
Responsible for the functional analysis for production planning in a PP-REM (Repetitive manufacturing environment). This project was meant to become one that would see Cadbury’s New Zealand and Australian operations merge into one common SAP system. The client stopped this project at the end of the blue printing phase. Codan - 7 Months SAP R/3 implementation in version 4.7.
Responsible for the implementation of PP covering the entire scope of make to order and make to stock process requirements. This project went on to win the much coveted SAP award "Best Industry Solution Implementation" in 2005.
BWN-DORMA door controls - 6 Months
SAP R/3 upgrade from version 3.1 to 4.7
Responsible for overseeing the successful upgrade of the production planning (PP) materials management (MM) modules and the SAP product configurator.

Total Oil - 14 months
SAP R/3 implementation in version 4.6c. with the vertical solution IS-OIL. Oil producing and retailing company. Responsible for the implementation of PM and associated functionalities to cover the entire maintenance activities of the French service station network (4500 service stations).
Ugine-Savoie Imphy – Arcelor Group - 13 months
Steel Products manufacturer – SAP R/3 implementation in version 4.6c. Implementation of SAP’s FI/CO/MM/SD/PP/QM modules. Project covering the entire scope of their manufacturing and distribution requirements for their European network. Responsible for the inter-modules functional coordination and setting up the SAP variant product configurator. Team management (10 consultants).
Ascometal-Lucchini Group - 8 months
Steel Products manufacturer. SAP R/3 implementation in version 4.6c with the vertical solution IS-MILL. Design of a core model covering all production aspects, for all of Ascometal’s steel mills. Implementation of the following SAP modules: FI/CO/MM/PP/SD/WM/QM/PM. Team management (9 consultants), client relations, budget planning.
Gewiss - 3 months
Ladder & cable shelf manufacturer. SAP R/3 implementation in version 4.6c. Responsible for the team coordination and for setting up the SAP variant product configurator in a sales and production environment (make to order environment). The major challenge was being able to translate numerous pages of mainframe code into the SAP product configurator in a very short amount of time.
Vantico - 8 weeks
Resin based products manufacturer. As part of their worldwide roll-out, training of the French team to the SAP FI/CO/MM/PP-PI/SD modules and assistance in pre-roll-out tests and coordination with the core team based in Switzerland.

Siemens SAS (Shared Accounting Services)
Blueprint phase only. Managed this phase on time and on budget in a context that required a great deal of negotiations to be carried out with diplomacy. This project involved a team management of 8 consultants.

Car parts manufacturer. SAP R/3 implementation in version 3.1 (FI/CO/SD/MM/WM/PP project). Responsible for the functional analysis and implementation of PP.

Car parts manufacturer. SAP R/3 implementation in version 3.1. Assistance and training of end-users in SAP’s Kanban functionalities.

Car parts manufacturer. SAP R/3 implementation in version 3.0d (FI/CO/SD/MM/PP project). Responsible for the writing up of test scenarios and for checking the customizing performed for the PP Module in a PP repetitive environment.
Assidomän Charfa Artois - 11 months
Paper products manufacturer. SAP R/3 implementation in version 2.2 (FI/CO/SD/MM/PP project). Co-responsible for the functional analysis and implementation of PP. The main PP functionalities implemented included, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), finite capacity scheduling, SOP (Sales Operations Planning) and demand management.

CAD/CAM Dept - Technical Support Team
As part of BEng. Sandwich year. Responsible for the implementation of a database software program for the entire design office to facilitate the work of the CAD/CAM technical support team and for training the personnel to use this software. All programs were developed under 4th Dimension on Macintosh computers.
